RecipeBuilder is operated by ByteBeam ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a recipe management, nutrition labeling, and cost tracking platform for food businesses.

  • Account data: Email address, full name, and password (hashed).
  • Business data: Business name, company logo, website, and business address.
  • Recipe data: Recipes, ingredients, nutrition information, costs, and packaging artwork you create.
  • Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store card numbers, CVVs, or raw payment details on our servers.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and error logs for service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and maintain the RecipeBuilder service.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Generate nutrition labels and packaging artwork.
  • Send service-related communications (billing, security alerts).
  • Improve the platform based on usage patterns.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication (EU region). Privacy Policy

  • OpenRouter: AI-powered translations for packaging labels. Recipe data (names, ingredients, allergens) is sent for translation only.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not track you for advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data and recipes are permanently removed within 30 days. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting regulations.

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data via your account settings.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your account and data.
